There is a super fun technique going around that results in a tie dye look. I first saw this technique in a Stampin’ Up! demonstrators Facebook group and I was just amazed by the beauty!!! I have experimenting with this technique a bit. You can see another card here. I even used the technique for the cover of a journal I am working on for the Hacking the Color Wheel class I’m taking. Then today it showed up in my inbox from splitcoast stampers. Check out the tutorial here.
I love playing with different techniques that are so unique each time you use it! The key to this is to pick colors that work well together. Soft colors are just as beautiful as bright colors! I am just drawn to bright colors, so that is what I use the most!
- The tie dye panel is “dyed” with Lemon Lime Twist ink.
- Creating a two color background panel is a great way to highlight different areas of a card! The Lemon Lime Twist has gold behind it. The white section gold!!! This helps bring out the gold medallions
- The Eastern Gold vinyl stickers are just awesome!!! They are really high quality stickers.
- I think this is my favorite of the new sentiments!!! It is in the Just add text stamp set
