One of my favorite things Stampin’ Up! offers is My Paper Pumpkin. I love that everything you need to create a project comes in one box. I also adore that the projects are simple and easy to make. They are always “wow” project in my option because the are clean and simple projects that bring a lot of bang! October’s Paper Pumpkin was extra fun to create.
I also love getting a surprise project in the mail each month. Stampin’ Up! provides a video each month to show you exactly what to do! I also, love that they provide you with plenty of “spare parts’ that can be saved for future projects. Not to mention it is a great way to collect a great little set of stamps and ink spots!
It was a beautiful day here in Alabama! So, when I had some down time at work I went outside and started putting together my kit! I already know who two of the cards are going to! I also have many ideas to use these stamps in the future! Exciting. Potability is defiantly a positive for Paper Pumpkin!

Market Fresh is a lovely stamp set by Stampin’ Up! It has three different stamps that are perfect for coloring! I have really been trying to work on my coloring skills and this is the perfect set to practice with.
The sentiments are perfect for all types of projects. I can’t wait to make strawberry jam (something I use to do….maybe I will get back to making jam this spring) and make cute little tags using strawberry stamp from this set! The thanks a bunch is so very perfect! When I see this I think of a bunch of wine grapes or concord grapes. But, yesterday perusing Instagram (after I had made my card for today) I saw a smart chick color her grapes green! Boy did they look wonderful. I am going to have to color some green grapes soon. And as soon as I figure out who to send Romaine Lettuce to I am going to be coloring that cut little guy in also! I hope a celebration worth “Romaine Lettuce” is coming along in my near future!!!
The colors I chose to use were Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Lost Lagoon, and Tip Top Taupe. This is a great combination. I don’t normally use a lot of Lost Lagoon. But, truly it is a great color. I should not neglect it as much as I do! Pour Lost Lagoon…
The background was made using the dot in the stamp set Work of Art. Some of the dots look more like splotches because I stamped twice before re inking the stamp. The smaller Blackberry Bliss splotches were made with a very small paint brush (stencil brush)
The grapes were stamped using the new Archival Basic Black ink. Then using a blinder pin and ink pads I colored the image in. After the image was colored I decided to fussy cut the image out. Then I added this to the layers of Old Olive and Lost Lagoon.
The second version of this card I decided to simple things up a bit and just added the fussy cut grapes to the card base.
I love both cards and how they show off the grapes!
Thank You for stopping by Westside Paper Creations! I am looking forward to the next time we meet here. I hope you have a wonderful day! I am going to leave you with this thought….remember to send hugs…much love to each of you…
