Crafty Friends!

My Stampin’ Up! friends are amazing! They are full of kindness and compassion. Each one of them brings there own sence of happy to this world! This is my favorite part of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the friendships I have made. And the friendships that have grown stronger through stamping!!! It just makes my heart full! Recently one of my Stampin’ Up! friends , Andrea sent me a card in the mail that she knew I loved. We are both part of the InKing Royalty. Brian King’s group!!! The best group ever!!! Anyway, Brian had a great little challenge for us in our InKing Royalty Facebook Group. The challenge was to make a card each day for 15 days! This challenge was so much fun and filled me with new ideas. So, Andrea posted this card one of the days. I commented on how much I loved the card! And guess what??? She sent me the card with the sweetest note inside!!! Is that not the nicest thing ever!!

The sun is from stiched shapes dies and a few banners

There is so much to love about this card! Here’s my top 3 reasons I love it!!!

The happy mood of the card!!!
The creative way Andrea used her dies. She fliped one to make waves. And her sun is just super smart!
There is no sentiment on tge outside! This card is just perfect standing alone as it is. She used the inside of the card for a sentiment and a sweet note! Just perfect

Let’s be friends forever….

Friendship is one of the great joys in life. It is something that should be celebrated! Eastern Places bundle has a great stamp that celebrates all things friends. “let’s be friends forever” This sentiment is just so perfect!!!

Eastern Places Bundle

This bundle is so much fun! All the different dies work together to make fun flowers and medallions. Then the stamp set coordinates with the dies to add accents and different shapes to the dies! What fun ?

The background is faux marbling made just like yesterday’s cards. Using shaving cream, ink, embossing paste, and a catalyst.
Square cards are all the rage right now!!! Didn’t know that??? I just declared it because, I have been making lots of square cards lately.
The vellum was die cut with one on the Eastern Places dies. Then also cut out with the layering circle die that was just slightly larger.
After heat embossing the sentiment with silver embossing powder, I added a little glue behind the letters and added the Lemon Lime Twist circle. This helped the sentiment stand out and it gave me a place to add stampin’ dimensionals.

This “all the rage” square card is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 . The paper was cut so that it measures 5 1/2 inches on one side and 11 inches on the other. And is scored at 5 1/2 inches. The layers (working inwards) are Card base (Basic Gray) 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 after scoring and folding as above, Lemon Lime Twist 5 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches, Soft Sky 5 1/8 by 5 1/8 inches, Silver embossed 5 5/8 by 5 5/8 inches, Lemon Lime Twist 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches, faux marbling 4 3/8 by 4 3/8 inches
