InKing Royalty blog hop -Sneak Peek

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop!  Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects that offer you a sneak peek at new items in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog.  We are so excited about the June 1 release of this new catalog  – it’s AMAZING – and we are excited to share our sneak peek creations with you today.  After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I happy to be sharing with you the today the Lovely Laurels dies and the Lovely friends Stamp Set.  The Lovely Laurels thinlet dies are quite unique.  They remind me of Roman times. The banner in the dies is quite lovely!!! I particularly like how you can put two together to make one big banner.  These dies were a must have for me!!

These dies pair perfectly with the Lovely Friends Stamp Set.  This set is full of great sentaments and a beautiful font.

I paired these with the New InColor Berry Burst, Oh My Stars Texture Impressions Embossing Folder, Lovely Words thinlits and Copper Trim.

Two very similar cards.  I love how you can make a few changes to a card and makes something all new.

  • The laurels were die cut from thick whisper white.
  • I pressed the versa mark ink pad against the die cut. Then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.  I did this twice
  • The friend dies is done the same way
  • The laurel and the banner is only glued down in certian areas.  This allowed for lift and texture.

  • The laurel was die cut in the New Berry Burst InColor.
  • Using one of my favorite (new to metechniques), I stamped one of the texture stampes (timeless texture stamp set)  in versa mark and then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder
  • Using fast fuse to glue the laurel down to the paper.
  • Stampin’ dementials under the banner to add depth.

Blog hop days make me so happy! I love seeing what all the Royals are creating.  I’m so lucky to be apart of such a uber talented group.

    Sneek Peek – Colorful Seasons

I love this time of year. When you can spend all day in the sun soaking up the rays.  Pretty May weather makes me wish for screaned in porches, hammocks, and daisies.  I tend to spend most of my free time finding ways to enjoy the perfect tempatures.  Like, coffee on the porch in the mornings or painting.  At work I take the computer out side to a table and work from there. I’m lucky that I get to compleatly soak up this season.  It’s those few days here in Alabama that are Perfect before the real summer heat and humidity kicks in…

Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set (in the up coming Annual catalog)   really brings the best of each season to us. From fall leaves, winter snowflakes, to spring flowers, to summer relaxation.

The sentament faunt is amazing!!! I love the verity of sentaments as well.  You even get a little cup!! How cute is that???

The upcoming Anniul Catalog also has some fablous papers!! Stampin’ Up! really did it up right in the paper department.  One of my favoriet papers is the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Papers. It is so very elegant yet fun and feminine.  It is also filled with great patterns.

I love the new In Color Tranquil Tide.  It is such a beautiful blue green…or is it green blue…witch ever caragory you put it in..The color is sothing prefection.

    • The lounge chair is stamped in Basic Black and Tranquil Tide . The thinking of you stamped in Tranquil Tide
    • I love the swirl pattern in the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.  This circular pattern is repeated with the round punched chair
    • There is just a little hint of the New Daffodil Delight Ribbon peeping through. This little bit of ribbon grounds the card.
