Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop!  Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects that offer you a sneak peek at new items in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog.  We are so excited about the June 1 release of this new catalog  – it’s AMAZING – and we are excited to share our sneak peek creations with you today.  After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I happy to be sharing with you the today the Lovely Laurels dies and the Lovely friends Stamp Set.  The Lovely Laurels thinlet dies are quite unique.  They remind me of Roman times. The banner in the dies is quite lovely!!! I particularly like how you can put two together to make one big banner.  These dies were a must have for me!!

These dies pair perfectly with the Lovely Friends Stamp Set.  This set is full of great sentaments and a beautiful font.

I paired these with the New InColor Berry Burst, Oh My Stars Texture Impressions Embossing Folder, Lovely Words thinlits and Copper Trim.

Two very similar cards.  I love how you can make a few changes to a card and makes something all new.

  • The laurels were die cut from thick whisper white.
  • I pressed the versa mark ink pad against the die cut. Then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.  I did this twice
  • The friend dies is done the same way
  • The laurel and the banner is only glued down in certian areas.  This allowed for lift and texture.

  • The laurel was die cut in the New Berry Burst InColor.
  • Using one of my favorite (new to metechniques), I stamped one of the texture stampes (timeless texture stamp set)  in versa mark and then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder
  • Using fast fuse to glue the laurel down to the paper.
  • Stampin’ dementials under the banner to add depth.

Blog hop days make me so happy! I love seeing what all the Royals are creating.  I’m so lucky to be apart of such a uber talented group.

There are a few things I love more than geometric shapes. Babies,  maybe…or cats…or a good fatty cheeseburger…Eastern Places Bundle combines all the greatnee of shapes to build medallions, modern flowers, and more!!!  The stamp set and dies work together to give you endless posibilities.  Coupled with stickers, designer series paper, and tassles,  the posibilities go on and on and on… Then there is the All New In Colors….swoon…this bundle spells ?

    Eastern Places Premiere Bundle

Stampin’ Up! has been so gracious and pre-released two  bundles!!!! Now through May 31st Eastern Places Premear Bundle and Eastern Places Starter Bundle

    Eastern Places Starter Bundle

One thing I have not mentioned about the Premire bundle that needs to be pointed out, is that the very vanilla paper is Thick Very Vanilla !!! This means it is perfect for card bases and more(boxes, bags, and 3-D) and it is FREE!!!  In the Starter Bundle you get very vanilla notecards and envelopes  for FREE!!!

All these products will avaiable in the upcoming Annual Catalog.  Though, the cool bundle ? goes away on May 31st.

I combined two of the new In Colors, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist with Daffodil Delight to create a modern flower and background.  I love, love, love the font of the sentaments in the Eastern Places stamp set.

    • I have been using my texture impression embossing folders a lot lately! I love the extra special layer of demotion it adds.
    • It it super exciting that there are dies for even the little curly q’s
