I love the fun and whimsical style of the new Quirky Critters stamp set! These guys are just to cute. And they are perfect for every coloring style. Each critter has its own little saying. Adorable!!!
Quirky Critters
The layout for this card came from a past CASE This Sketch challenge. I made this card for the challenge. Then realized that the challenge had close. But, I decided to share the sketch and inspiration with you anyway. Sketches are a great place to get the creative juices flowing.
I just love the simplicity of this sketch. And of course, I didn’t really step out of the sketch box…
I followed it all the way.
- This little sloth is super cute hanging onto his bamboo.
- The paper is in the Coffee Break Designer Series papers.
- Colors used are Old Olive and Early Espresso

I am so very happy that the Pop of Paradise stamp set is in this years catalog. It was one of my favorite stamps last summer. I am sure I will be using it a lot this year as well! I have always loved flamingos. And the pink green color combination that is so naturally flamingos. Though I ended up not using the flamingo in this set. It was my original idea. That idea just went a different direction.

The color combination is shades of pool colors. Including Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay. Then I added just a splash of Flirty Flamingo.
- The background is stamped with the Timeless Texture stamp set.
- Then using a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig layering the leaves where they go. The Bermuda Bay leaf was stamped at full color. Then stamped a seconed time after stamping off. The other lead is stamped in
- Both of the ribbons are NEW!! Flirty Flamingo bakers twine and Bermuda Bay mini chevron ribbon.
