Blog loving Easter Hop!
Welcome to the April Blogging Friends Blog Hop. This month we are celebrating Easter. That time when spring has bloomed, bunnies roam leaving chocolate eggs, and flowers are beautiful. Life just seems sweeter this time of year. I have been looking forward to using the Gingham Gala designer series paper so very much. And celebrating Easter seemed to be the perfect opportunity! I love how well the Gingham paper goes with the Daffodil from You’re Inspiring
- the daffodils from the You’re Inspiring stamp set were stamped with black ink
- I used the stampin’ wright markers to color the image
- Then the sentiment was stamped. I did not realize that the Happy Easter was crocked untill I started taking the pictures. I decided to leave it because, Handmade cards do not have to be perfect! Right???? At least that is what I am trying to tell myself as I cringe looking at the picture! Really, I am trying to let it go….really!!!
- the final step was to pop the colored image up on the card.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will continue to hop along using the guide below!

Beautiful layering, Jennifer! Such a sweet card that’s perfect for Easter. These daffodils pair perfectly with the gingham paper. ♥
I think mono tone cards are so simplistically beautiful. Its a real art to get them to not look plain. Wonderful card
Lovely and cheery!
I love the gorgeous Gingham Gala paper you have chosen to use, combined with the beautiful flowers – all just so pretty.
I love your bright and cheery card, Jennifer! I can’t resist the yellow and white gingham and beautiful lilies.
Very joyful spring card, I like your style!!
