The Holiday Catalog is full of amazing stamp sets!  One of the must have stamp set is Painted Harvest.  This set is full of sunflowers and leaves that look painted.  What fun is that! This set is Beautiful and Stampin’ Up! has done a awesome job with the samples for this set.  I am just over the moon about using this set!

Painted Harvest

I just love everything about this stamp set.  The sentiments are amazing!  The stamp are beautiful.  What more could a girl ask for??? Stampin’ Up!  really knows how to make a stamping girl happy.

Everything about this picture speaks fall!  It is so very beautiful. I know we are all looking forward to Football, Pumpkins, and Crisp Air!  It will be here before we know it!!!

  • This card features a technique that is a Faux Batik.  The colors used to create the background are Pool Party, Pear Pazzaze, and Old Olive.  I will be sharing more details about this technique on Friday.
  • The card is kept simple to help the background shine.  The natural ribbon and the wood elements all play into the organic look of the card
  • The sentiment is layered with the Circle Layering Dies and the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Sneak Peek for Tic Tac Toe 009

Posted by on Aug 7, 2017 in Cheers to the Year, Hello Friend, Holiday Catalog 2017 | 4 comments

The Tic Tac Toe Challenge has a great bored right now. It has thank you, all things round, sequins, stacked sentiments, plants. So many fun elements to choose from. I chose to go all they way down on one side with all things round, stacked sentiments, and plants.

I knew right away I wanted to use all things round.  So then I decided to use a stacked Sentiment. That just left plants.  My first version of this card, I completely forgot to add the plant elements. I was going to go with it anyway, but then I had computer issues and didn’t get my post off as scheduled. So, I decided to add the plants… Such fun ?

I really wanted to use an upcoming stamp set from the Holiday Catalog (available Sep.1) it is perfect for the round theme. And can be used for so much more than Holiday cards and crafts.  The set is called Cheers to the Year.  I love the sketch circles in this set!!!

Cheers to the Year

This is such a wonderful stamp set.  I love the snowflakes and the sentiments are beautiful.  Stampin’ Up! has paired this set with some amazing matellics for the holidays!  These samples from the catalog are just simply beautiful in every way!

Cheers to the Year Stampin’ UP!

I decided to pare the circles with a fun summer color combination!  This color combination reminds me of a setting sun or even  a sun rise on the beach.  The perfect blend of pinks, yellows, and peaches.

The sentiment is from a wonderful stamp set in the Annual Catalog, Hello Friend.  It is paired with The Stitched Shapes Layering Dies and the Paisley Framelit Dies.

  • The circles are stamped in Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, and Melon Mambo
  • The a few flecks of gold/silver leafing. If I were to do this again, I would add less leafing…i just got carried away and kept adding
  • The sentiment is stacked on layers of the circles from the stitched Shapes Layering dies.
  • The flowers are cut from the Paisley framelit dies.

Here’s a look at the card before adding the flowers.

Here is the supply list less the items not available until September.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have had a great Monday.  And that  you have had a moment to be creative.

Peace-
